SHARING IS CARING!

the warby parker home try-on, my experience getting new eyeglasses

After signing up for Warby Parker’s free home try-on, I couldn’t help but let you guys in on this great experience. Not only are the glasses beautiful, and well-made, the package that even these trial pairs are sent in is something to gawk-in-awe at. I think the reason I’ve waited so long to update my glasses is that I haven’t had the time to dedicate a day to going out and trying tons of glasses on. Warby Parker takes that whole hassle and throws it right out the window (while driving 80+ miles per hour and passing every other glasses experience I’ve ever had). I’ve never done a post with so many pictures of myself, and honestly, I’m pretty self-conscious about it. I really wanted to share my choices with you, so I buckled down, figured out the timer on my camera, and went at it! What do you think?

Warby Parker‘s mix of modern yet vintage inspired styles are right up my alley. I decided on the Preston in Sandalwood Matte. My current pair of glasses are tortoise, and a bit square. I thought the Preston would give me a nice alternative with a rounder shape and a lighter color (and with a slightly stronger prescription – hence the ‘me getting new glasses’ thing). Not only do these glasses come at an amazing price of $94 a piece (prescription lenses included!), when you buy a pair, another pair is donated to someone in need. A win-win, with suburb style all included.
