SHARING IS CARING!

obsession

Since moving to Savannah and meeting Melanie, we really seemed to bond over our short breaks during the day where we head out of downtown and go to the closest Starbucks with a drive through. There is something about getting out of your normal environment, if even for 20 minutes that is really refreshing.

Can you tell I’m a bit obsessed lately? This quarter is really hitting me hard, and I’m sure you could tell if you’ve been keeping up with this blog at all. This picture is of my trash can beside my desk. It takes the little moments like these to realize that I really need a break some time. By the amount of cups I have in this can (and it’s not even all of them, just the ones I’ve happened to finish while sitting here), you can clearly see that I’m trying to compensate for something.

On the up-side, the new drink I can’t seem to get enough of is the brewed chai tea, with 1/3 steamed (and frothy!) milk on top, and 2 splenda (some places call it a misto?…but some are confused when you ask for that…) It’s like a chai latte, but it doesn’t feel like a meal. Delicious. This sickness has turned me into a hardcore tea drinker. I’m not upset about this.
