My brain is on overload lately. We’re in the middle of a big pitch, and everything is getting a little hazy! It’s only been three weeks in, but I feel like I’ve been here for months already. I’m so appreciative that I was able to be thrown right in to the nitty gritty work and do things that I never thought they’d allow an intern to do. I’m working as part of the creative team, helping out with concepts and flushing out two whole campaign ideas. Even though a lot of what I’m doing is not making the cut, it’s so amazing just to be a part of this process! I love that I’m actually being pushed to work harder and learn more every day, something I didn’t know I’d get in the work environment. Silly me.

As for blog-land, it’s been sparse, as I’m sure you can see. When you’re getting home late (sometimes past 11), and getting up at 6-something, it isn’t leaving all the time in the world for blogging, let alone real person things like a full night’s sleep and grocery buying. Seriously, not complaining though, I’m loving what I’m doing and would have it no other way…just a fair warning and a simple excuse for this here blog’s lack of blog-ness, for the time being at least.
