This is exactly what our generation needed in a tv show. Only one episode in, but I can tell Girls will be a new-found favorite. It documents modern day girls living in NYC in this weird in-between stage of life; one where you’re supposed to take on all these adulthood duties, but you’re still feeling like a child in a lot of respects. At the ripe age of twenty-three, this is practically exactly how I feel. Girls does a great job at portraying the truth of this age, and I can’t help but interject another real portrayal of this coming-of-age predicament. Kidding, kidding, but only kind of. Anyways, if you’re not into the above, the set design is pretty stellar. I’m very inspired to have a fridge with a bunch of magnets, but only on the top. Thanks Girls.
(Photos are screenshots that I was creepily taking while watching the first episode to document fridges and couches. Please, you’re encouraged to follow suit.)
